Business Layers Expands Executive Management Team.

ROCHELLE PARK, N.J., Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ --

Business Layers, a leading developer of eProvisioning(TM) solutions, today announced the appointment of two new members to its executive management team. Andrew Rawson joins Business Layers as Vice President of Marketing, and will guide the company's strategic marketing and business initiatives. Barak Ben-Avinoam serves as General Manager of Business Layers' European operations, which opened its doors earlier this month with the launch of its headquarters in France, and new subsidiaries in Denmark, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

Previously, Mr. Rawson spent seven years at Magic Solutions International where he was the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing. Mr. Rawson and his staff supported a 60-person sales organization with over 5,000 customer sites around the world. He was instrumental in growing Magic Solutions' sales from under $1 million to more than $50 million, while building strategic partnerships with Intel, Lucent, Microsoft, and Ziff-Davis.

After Magic Solutions was acquired by Network Associates, Mr. Rawson spent two years with IPHighway as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development, where he positioned the company as a leader in the emerging policy-based network management industry. Mr. Rawson is a highly regarded speaker who has presented at more than 100 industry seminars and panels throughout the United States and Europe. He holds a BS in Economics from Connecticut College.

Mr. Ben-Avinoam has more than 15 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development, with a focus on the telecom and Internet application industries. He has held a variety of positions with several start-up companies, and most recently served as Managing Director of e-sim Europe, a publicly held company that develops and markets advanced simulation and C code generation technology.

Previously, Mr. Ben-Avinoam was president of Flash Networks, a company that develops and sells a range of products to enhance and accelerate Internet applications. His prior business experience also includes various marketing positions at Lannet, an offspring of RAD-bynet Group (acquired by Lucent Technologies). Mr. Ben-Avinoam holds a BS in Information Systems from Drexel University in Philadelphia, and is currently a degree candidate for a BS in Management at Boston University.
