Alleged resin backer extradited

A man alleged to have been involved in Australia's largest ever cannabis resin seizure is
on his way back to Australia after being extradited from the Netherlands.

Justice Minister Amanda Vanstone said 49-year-old American George Paul Brock is alleged to
be the principal and financier of an attempt to import 10 tonnes of cannabis resin into Port
Stephens on the NSW mid-north coast in January, 1997.
