Fed: Summernats car festival kicks off tomorrow

CANBERRA, Jan 1 AAP - Summernats - one of the country's biggest annual car festivalskicks off tomorrow with up to 100,000 petrol heads expected to descend on Canberra.
The three-day event at Canberra's Exhibition Park (EPIC) attracted a record 113,000people in 2001 but a clampdown on alcohol last year prompted a fall to 93,000.
Organisers are expecting between 95,000-100,000 this year.
Under new restrictions enforced last year, people are prohibited from bringing anyalcoholic beverage, large plastic soft drink bottles and eskies into the venue.
